AnnMortimerArt
Welcome to the Ann Mortimer Art Painting blog. Glad to have you visiting. I am a watercolour artist and tutor and this is my website but in a more immediate form. I've been painting in watercolour for about 22 years and still find it endlessly fascinating and challenging. I've been teaching groups of students for several years now and I know the sort of things that trip people up in their watercolour painting. Here I look at some of the problems that people encounter and ways to deal with them. I'm a member of the Society of Floral Painters and have written a book on watercolour painting called "Flowers in the Landscape" published by Search Press. I'm working on a second book about painting orchids in Search Press's Ready to Paint series. I've contributed articles to Leisure Painter over the years. I teach groups of students in my studio at home and also do workshops and demonstrations for Art Societies. (Please Note: The copyright of all the images in this blog remains with me, the artist, Ann Mortimer. Please don't use images without my permission.)
